When I met Melissa for the first time, we spent an hour just talking and realizing how much we had in common, and I knew right away I was going to love photographing her wedding.  Even though it rained, Melissa was not fazed, choosing to believe the old adage about rain being good luck, because "a wet knot is harder to untie".  Melissa and Brad's day was perfect, from the formal table settings to the black and white damask and peacock blue accents.  After spending this day with Melissa, Brad, and their families everyone can see how loved this couple is.  Thank you so much for having me be a part of your day!

Kim braved the humidity and impending rain to grab some great water shots!!!
Melissa and Brad chose to see each other before the ceremony, I LOVE it when couples choose to do a "first look".  It gives them a few minutes to themselves on their busy wedding day. We also were able to take our time through the rest of the portraits :)

A HUGE thank you to Kim Boyd, for shooting with me and keeping me on track that day!!! You are the best :)

I was thrilled to get to spend an afternoon with Amanda and Chad as they celebrated with their friends and family.  You can tell these two are so loved by everyone around them!  Their wedding day was so beautiful, every little detail looked like it belonged in a magazine.  And, despite how hot it was that evening, Amanda looked stunning- and her dress was gorgeous!!!  Thank you two for letting David and I share your day with you.

This couple chose a March wedding date with hopes of beautiful spring blooms and some perfect Arkansas spring weather.  Well, beautiful blooms they got, but no one expected this unseasonably warm spring!  It was a surprisingly warm day, but Jacqueline looked gorgeous in her strapless gown.  And Jake and the guys were more than happy to lose their suit jackets for most of the day.

When I met with these two for the first time, they specifically said they did not want to see each other before the ceremony, and I supported their decision- I love tradition :) But, about a week before the wedding Jacqueline convinced Jake to do a first look- which I love even more than tradition! I love the extra time it gives the couple to just be together, such an intimate moment that I am always excited to capture.

I am so thankful that this amazing couple chose me to photograph their day, they are so full of joy and laughter.  And because of that- they are so much fun to photograph!  I had such a good time with them and their families, and believe me- there was lots of laughing!  I chose many laughing pictures to share with you, because I love how Jake can make Jacqueline (and the rest of us) laugh.  I hope that you enjoy this peek at their happy day! :)

I am so thankful to Kim Boyd and my husband David for shooting with me- we sure had a great day. :)
