Have you ever known you were going to like someone before you even met them?  From the first email I received from Peter about his and Lisa's wedding, I KNEW I was going to love this couple.  Peter is from England and met Lisa while studying missions at Harding University- the story of how they met had all the guests in Cone Chapel laughing! They plan to move to England after graduation to train missionaries.  They are two incredibly giving people, and after spending a day with their families, I know where those traits came from. David and I are so blessed to know you, Peter and Lisa.  I know that God has big plans for your future!

Lisa and Peter's August wedding day was a mix of thunderstorms and abundant sunshine, raining one minute and blue skies the next.  But, it seemed that every moment we needed to be outside the weather miraculously cooperated!  What a beautiful day it was for this beautiful couple!

Peter and Lisa chose not to see each other before the ceremony, but wanted to pray together.
So they met on either side of the Cone Chapel door, where Peter surprised Lisa with a gift!
Since they could not dance at Harding University, Peter, Lisa, and their families met at a park after the reception
so they could celebrate the traditional first dance as husband and wife.

Peter and Lisa- Thank you so much for having David and I be a part of your day!  We so enjoyed getting to know you and your wonderful families.  We know you two will be blessed!

When I met Juliana in July to talk about her December wedding she explained that the wedding would have feathers and bling.  And she was not kidding!!! Heber Springs Baptist Church was decked out in feathers, zebra print, and jewels- creating a beautiful, elegant, yet fun atmosphere.  I was concerned (as was the bride!) about the winter storm that had just hit central Arkansas, but the snow and ice outside couldn't compare to the warmth and love of these two families. Ryan and Juliana, thank you so much for including me in your day- your wedding was so perfectly fit to your personalities!  I know you two will have such a blessed future!!!

A wet knot is harder to untie than a dry knot... that's what they say when it rains on your wedding day- it's good luck!  Sarah and Daniel sure made the best of a chilly wet Saturday.  The guys were up to dodging raindrops with me outside, and the girls braved the cold wind inside the doorway.  Everything about this day seemed perfect- from Sarah in her gorgeous lace- to Daniel looking dapper in gray- we were ahead of schedule (what?!?!?!)- to those beautiful purple lilies.  Inside Trinity Baptist Church was an escape from the dreary December weather outside, with it's candlelight and peacock feathers.  Daniel kept us all in stitches as he recited his 'vowels' (you had to be there :) ) And we took the warmth with us to Sunset Ridge where guests cut the chill with hot cocoa.  All in all- perfect- just like you two are.
Sarah and Daniel, thank you so much for choosing me to be there with you on your wedding day, I feel so honored!!!

And a huge thank you to my wonderful husband for shooting with me!  I couldn't have done it without you, David!!! :)
